Behringer ACX450 Ultracoustic 45-Watt Amplifier

I have been playing an acustic guitar for a number of years, mostly to entertain myself at home. I have from time to time thought of an amp for when my wife or friends join me. I read about this from Amazon and it sounded just right. Boy, were they right. It is perfect for what I bought it for. Enough power for home and small gatherings as well. I like the fact that it has 2 channels so I can plug a mike in or another guitar. It doesn’t help my singing but my wife has a ball and it sounds real good. If you’re looking for a good practical addition for acustic guitar or mike for home or small gatherings, this is a great choice. BTW, purchase and delivery were easy and everything went well, ahead of time. Go for it!

This beautiful amp produces some amazing clean sounds, and the effects and equalizers are a nice bonus too. For the price, it can’t be beat. It’s got two inputs, so the only thing missing is a headphone jack, but as powerful as this thing is, you’d almost be insulting it to hook up headphones. I haven’t used the cd inputs (on the back) yet, but everything else works great, and I have no doubt this will too. Not sure I’ll use the foot switches (though they work), but can see how a pro would.
side note: It’s labeled as an “accoustic amp” but I’m running an electric guitar through it and it sounds incredible.
I’ll update this if I run across any issues, but I don’t forsee any.

I’ve read the Behringer promotional material sent with the amplifier. It the (ACX-450) is even better than the promotion. The range, texture and quality of sound is amazing — both instumentally & vocally. Mr. Behringer has said that the aim of the company is to provide equipment of the highest quality for musicians on a limited budget. In my opinion, this calim has been amply substantiated with this amplimfier. Many thanks to everyone at Behringer for this fine amplifier!
